Don Mills Welcomes Stupidity !

I would like to congratulate the Time Hortons located at 842 York Mills Road, across from Rogers TV, for bringing stupidity to Don Mills.

They really pised me off on Thursday.

I was in there every Tuesday and Thursday, while I was working at the plaze across the street. It was at the point where they knew what I wanted in my coffee, and had it ready as I walked in.

Well, that has all changed.
On that day, I wanted my usual coffee, large with milk, a bagel with light cream cheese, and a box of plain Timbits.

That was fine, then one person walked in behind me. One. Not a huge lineup.
For some reason at that point, the person entering my order, decided to start asking him for his order, before mine was finished.
Well, that is in itself is rude.
Finish with me, first.

The other problem was, that she screwed up. Not once, but four times.

I told her I was going to pay using debit card, as I always do at that location.
Anyway, she entered it as credit card, and it came back as 'Not Accepted'.
Well, of course.

I asked her to try it again, and once again, 'Not Accepted'.

...and a third time, a charm right?
Wrong. She freaking did it again!

After the fourth time of 'Not Accepted', after confiming for the fourth time that I was, in fact, using a debit card, she said to me, "Your credit card is not working,. Would you like to try something else?"

I said nothing, but instead, turned around and walked out. I left everything on the counter. Now, it is their problem.

One time is understandable, that is a mistake, but four times?
She was obviously not paying attention. She was more interested in the customer behind me.
That's fine. She now has a lot of time to talk to the customer behind me, because it will be a long time before they see me again.

There is a Tim Hortons at Pape Station, and since there is always a long wait for a Don Mils bus, I will get my coffee there from now on.

Don Mills now welcomes stupidy.

Masters Card

Richard has said that he would like to have the entire team representing Stockyards on the next card, April 25.
That would be great, but realisticly, difficult to do.
I hope he can do it.
We have not yet had a card with every Stockyards boxer in it.

Another thing he mentioed was that he would like to have a Master's Division main event.
I don't know if he was joking around, but that would be a very good idea.
He was saying that it would be good to promote older people in boxing.
That is what I have been trying to do for the past couple of years.
I really hope he does that. I think it would really help the sport.

Happy St. Patrick`s Day
