A Kilogram Of Kickass

ENTRY 296

I'd Like A Kilogram Of Kickass, Please

How much is it for a kilogram of Kickass?

Coach Richard wanted me to drop a weight-class in order to prepare for the Bronze Gloves.
My current class begins at 81 kg.
The last time I did a weigh-in, I was 81.6 kg.
That means that I need to drop one kilogram in order to qualify for the Bronze Gloves.
My goal is to drop more, of course, but I am happy that I was able to drop from 84 to 81 in just four weeks.
I have three weeks to the Bronze Gloves tournament, so it should be no problem to trim off a couple of K's.

I have to say that is really not that difficult.
The hardest part is cutting out the junk food.
I was at the Stockyards Walmart yesterday. I was buying some veggies, but that store for some reason has the Hostess and Vachon cakes right next to the produce department. I had to walk by those damn things four times while picking my veggies.
They called to me. Especially the Au Caramel. They said "Buy us".
I am happy to report that I was able to successfully ignore them.

That brings me to another question. Why did they put the fatty junk food right next to the good foods?

It also amazes me that a lettuce was $2.97, a bag of carrots was $2.97, cauliflower was...forget it...but the Vachon cakes were $2.00 for a box of six.

My opinion on this is if 'they' want people to eat healthier, why is junk food so much more inexpensive?

My Walmart haul for February 3,(also interestingly and unrelated, was the warmest February 3 on record), a lettuce, a bag of carrots, a bag on onions, four tomatoes, a box of Multi-grain Cheereos, a package of lean chicken breast, and a container of non-fat sour cream (which tastes like crap, BTW).

The bill was $17.40.

Hopefully, this will help me lose the one kilogram needed to get into the high-end of the Light-Heavyweight class, become faster and more agile, and ultimately kick some ass.

To answer the question, how much is a kilogram of kickass?
$17.40.

Much unlike this old McFrench McMenu in McMontréal from 2002.
More 'food' I am not allowed to eat.
Not that I'd want to.

Notice that a 'Combo' was called a 'Trio', because 'Combo' is short for 'Combination' which is a word that does not exist in French, and is therefore evil and taboo in Quebéc.
However, 'cheeseburger' is the same as English, and not 'burger avec fromage' as one would expect.
Okay.

McCroquettes™?
