I HATE FAT
Yesterday, I had my weight and body fat checked, and I have to say, I was very happy.
My weight is down to 82 kg, that's 180 pounds, but the biggest nice surprise was my body fat percentage. I am down to 12.8 %. That puts me in the 'athletic' range. Which, according to the American Council on Exercise, is right where I should be.
Yay, me.
I could drop more, and I intend to.
If I look back to four years ago, I was 223 pounds, at 25% fat.
It took four years, no miracle treatment, no drugs, just plain diet and exercise.
I had high cholesterol and blood pressure, and my doctor said that if I did not do something about it, I could have a heart attack.
I took him seriously, and look where I am now.
If I can do it, anyone can. Especially, if you are older.
Although I am proud of what I have achieved, I am not saying this to brag, or to make anyone feel bad. It is to encourage people.

As I keep saying, you are never too old.
If you are tired of being a fat-ass, get off your ass, and work on it.
I can say that, because I was there.
That being said, I have to congratulate Oliver Kladnick's father...
Mister Kladnik's Turn, Too
Vladdy (please correct me if the spelling is wrong), Oliver's father has said that he wants to get back into boxing.
I sparred him a few days ago, and he is pretty good. Hits hard for an older guy.
I think he used to be a professional boxer at one time.
Right now, he is out of shape. This according to Richard.
However, he is working on getting into shape, and I hope he gets to compete soon. I hope is opponent is younger, and that he knocks his opponent right onto his ass. I really do.
Congratulations to Mr. Kladnick for attempting a comeback.
I guess all the message I am trying to get out there is working.

The Technology Time-Machine
How much can a city change in seven years?
A lot.
I was experimenting with the new Google Street View Archives, that allow you to view a street the way it was back to 2007. I guess that was the first time Google had Street View.
Here are some 'before and after' shots of areas a frequent or used to frequent.
Actually, they are more 'after and before'.
Some changes are very subtle, and some are huge:
2014
2007
Yonge Street north of Dundas Street
2014
2007
St. Clair Ave / Keele Street
2014
2007
Dundas Stret south of Bloor Street
2014
2007
Bloor Street / Bathurst Street
2014
2007
One of my work locations, 865 York Mills Road

2007
Well, that was an interesting trip back in time.
